Mobile Computing
We have worked with organizations across the U.S. to implement wireless
networks in facilities ranging in size from 5,000 sq. ft. to 1,200,000 sq.
ft.

A variety of technologies are available
to provide solutions that best suit the environment.
Implementing a wireless network on a waterfront dock requires
different considerations than one that is to operate in a climate
controlled distribution facility.

Mobile terminals come in a variety of
shapes and sizes. Small handheld terminals with internal
scanners & RFID interrogators can be carried with a belt holster or
shoulder strap. Vehicle mount terminals can have full screen
displays and keyboards. External scanners can be used to provide
the operator greater reach and mobility.

A variety of scanners are available to match the requirements of
material handling equipment, vehicles, and product handling
characteristics. We have clients scanning very small UPC
barcodes and others scanning labels that are over fifty feet away. |
Site Survey
Perhaps the most important
component of any wireless network installation is the site survey.
Test equipment is used to insure that adequate radio coverage is provided
and that are no external factors that could interfere with the radio
network. Redundant coverage can also be built into the network.
Hardware Selection
The material handling equipment, physical product
characteristics, facility layout, storage locations, and safety concerns
are all considered during the selection of the mobile devices.

As a channel partner with PSION Teklogix we are proud to
offer the finest R/F equipment available.
